The Daisy mug

This mug was thrown on the wheel and then once dry I attach the half daisy handle. Using black underglaze I paint each area twice to achieve an opaque effect. The inside is glazed with a dreamy sky blue with a bit of white to achieve an interesting and unique glaze run. A statement piece for any coffee or tea lover out there. 

Made using Keane’s midfire no.33 (an Australian heritage company with over 40 years in the clay industry).  Food grade safe and dishwasher safe glaze.

Made in my little studio in Sydney and stamped on the rear with my custom signature.
