TERMS & CONDITIONS

The terms and policies outlined below apply to wholesale orders within Australia, in addition to our regular Terms & Conditions. By placing an order with ALEX CONAN you are agreeing to our terms and policies. These terms are subject to change at any time. If terms are amended they will be effective immediately.

Please familiarise yourself with these T&C’s prior to placing an order.

HOW TO ORDER

FILL OUT THE FORM AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. Once your request has been received and you are a good fit for Alex Conan we will email you a password to access the wholesale portal.

DISTRIBUTION

Alex Conan products may not be distributed through any physical or online marketplace (including but not limited to) eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Ali Baba etc. Selling Alex Conan products on these marketplaces breaches our distribution policy and legal action will take place. I regularly screen these sites to ensure this does not take place. You may sell Alex Conan products in your bricks and mortar store and via your bricks and mortar store website.

EXCLUSIVITY

Alex Conan enjoys working closely with her customers and growing her brand. Alex Conan will grant exclusivity based on post code but not on the entire range. 
Example: You are located in Bondi (2026) and you stock my Large Alcove Altar- Pegasus. I will not distribute that same piece anywhere within your post code but I will distribute other pieces from the range.

ORDER MINIMUM

A minimum spend of $350 on all opening wholesale orders + shipping

A minimum spend of $200 on all reorders + shipping.

WHOLESALE PRICING

All prices are listed in AUD, with wholesale prices 50% off the RRP, shipping cost not included. Alex Conan is ** Not registered for GST**.

PAYMENT

A 50% deposit is required before production begins. This is for essential as my ceramics are made to order and I use external printers for my giclee art print. All major credit cards and PayPal payments are accepted.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of your order must be done within 72 hours of placing the order. Cancelled orders that surpass the 72 hours forfeit the 50% deposit. If you need to request a change to your order, please email me at alex@alexconan.com with the subject line “Wholesale order change request”.

PRODUCTION TIMES

Ceramic Pieces:

Production time may vary; this depends on the time of year such as holiday season, show season and large orders. As a guide ceramics can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks plus shipping. Alex Conan will endeavour to communicate with you if there are any delays as soon as they are recognised. Rush orders are offered subject to availability at a fee of 25% of the wholesale order (not including shipping).

Alex Conan’s ceramic range is handmade to order by Alex herself. This means that no two items are the same and that is what makes them special. It is important to understand clay moves during the drying and firing stages which can render a slight change in colour. There can also be variations in size andshape as well as slight differences in paint strokes or patterns and motifs– this is due to their handmade/hand painted nature. Placement within the kiln, high heats and surrounding pieces with their respective glazes also determine things such as entrapment of tiny air bubbles, flecks, speckles or coloured reaction lines. Inconsistencies such as these do not diminish the quality of the product but rather add character, making every piece truly one of a kind. These differences are what make them a true handmade artisanal product.

The images you see on Alex Conan’s site, wholesale catalogue and social media channels are an example of the product, not the exact piece you will be receiving.

Have a 2-3 week production time plus shipping. Production time may vary; this depends on the time of year such as holiday season, show season and large orders.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

As our goods are made to order, we are unable to offer returns or provide an exchange.

If an item is faulty in any way that is not related to shipping/delivery services, please email alex@alexconan.com and add a short description of the problem.

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. If damage to any items has occurred please email a clear photo of the parcel shipping label, the packaging (foam, bubble wrap, air pillows, fragile stickers, shredded paper, packing beans etc) and damaged items within three days of receiving your order to alex@alexconan.com. Alex Conan will endeavour to resolve this issueand will be in contact with the buyer regarding the situation.

SHIPPING

Any buyers within Sydney NSW wanting to pick up their shipment from Miranda NSW are able to do so to save on shipping cost.

Customer pays for shipping. Shipping costs are calculated once an order has been packed for shipping, based on volume, weight and destination. Orders are shipped via Australian parcel post or Sendle. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information once order has shipped.

FORCE MAJEURE

Alex Conan will not be liable for any failure to supply or delay in supply caused by a Force Majeure beyond our reasonable control.

“Force Majeure” means any of the following events or occurrences and the effects thereof: fire, storm, flood, earthquake, landslide, explosion, accident, act of a public enemy, war, rebellion, insurrection, riot, civil commotion, sabotage, epidemic, quarantine restrictions, labour disputes, transportation embargoes, national or international oil or fuel shortage, acts of God, acts of government or any agency or judicial action.
