Mushroom Mug

A one off piece, this mug was made on the wheel. After it dried I attached the handle and hand moulded the mushroom. I then underglazed the mushroom with black paint as well as some effects around it and dipped the handle in a dreamy sky blue that created the most precious drop at the bottom of the handle. Inside of the mug is also sky blue with some white snowflake glaze to create a gorgeous effect inside the cup.

All glazes are food grade safe and dishwasher safe. For longevity I do recommend hand washing as the dishwasher makes the ceramic brittle over time.

Made using Keane’s white raku and midfire no.33 (an Australian heritage company with over 40 years in the clay industry).  Food grade safe and dishwasher safe glaze.

Made in my little studio in Sydney and stamped on the rear with my custom signature.
