Moon Ring Holder

The moon ring holder is a sweet trinket tray with a crescent moon standing upright so you can rest your rings onto.

Made by cutting out a circle from a slab of white raku clay, using the pinched lift technique I build up a circular wall. Then I cut out the crescent shape from midfire no.33 clay abe attach it to the middle. Black underglaze is painted twice to make the face and the word Luna – Italian for Moon.
