Ceramic Wall Hanger

I love making functional pieces and especially love creating wall hangers that can be used to house jewellery, keys, crystals and bits and bobs.

These wall hangers are made from a slab of roll out piece of clay, I cut out the desired shape and then add on the shelves and knobs.

These two pieces were made from Blackwattle white clay, which I then hand painted motifs on (twice to retain colour during the firings). You will notice there is a different in colour between the two pieces because the blue mushroom one was fired in a lower setting and the red mushroom was fired in a higher setting, making every piece uniquely one of a kind.
