I am a huge lover of all things suns and moon and I am also a huge advocate for cleansing the home and so this prayer bowl emerged. Consisting of a large bowl chamber that you fill with sand and a secondary smaller bowl for your charcoal and incense. Decorated with a three phase moon and a sun icon this piece was lovingly made thrown on the wheel with some handbuilt elements and hand painted with black underglaze.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: This item was damaged in the second firing. The bottom has a crack making this not water tight. For it to be functional it required a piece of felt to line the bottom which I will provide. As it is a damaged item it is drastically reduced in price.
Made using Keane’s midfire no.33 and Keane’s white raku (an Australian heritage company with over 40 years in the clay industry). Food grade safe and dishwasher safe glaze.
Made in my little studio in Sydney and stamped on the rear with my custom signature.
